Opening times

You are always welcome in the Cathedral, whether for worship or just to look around, learn more about the history, or perhaps simply to enjoy some quiet time on your own.

The Cathedral is open daily from 9am to 6pm.

We are open all year round, though opening hours may vary slightly on Bank Holidays and Holy Days.

Taize at the Cathedral


Find out how more about the Cathedral development campaign and to hear more about how you can get involved.

Choral Evensong

Choral Evensong

Join us for Choral Evensong with the Cathedral Choristers every Sunday at 3.30pm in term time. (with occasional variations of time for Cathedral events). Said Evening Prayer during holidays.

Worship space

Taize at the Cathedral

Join us on the last Saturday of each month at 6pm for a time of peaceful, prayerful reflection in words and music in the style of the ecumenical monastic community of Taize in France.  The evening includes a simple soup supper - and a warm welcome for all.


Children and youth events

Caterpillar club - 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10.00am - 11.30am. All preschoolers, parents and carers welcome.
Messy church - First Saturday of each month in the Corrin Hall from 4.00pm - 6.00pm
