Midday Prayer at Ancient Cathedral

-

St German's Day is Monday 13th July

During the Week of the Festival of St German, who is Patron of both the ancient Cathedral on St Patrick's Isle, and the new Cathedral in the heart of Peel, there will be mid-day prayer sung in the ancient Cathedral.

This will be on St Patrick's Isle at 12noon from Monday 13th July to Friday 17th July.

It is a short office which will be sung within the ancient Cathedral, and links us to the time when there would have been a significant resident staff in the old Cathedral, and the monastic prayers upon which our present mid-day prayers are based, would have been said at regular times throughout every single day of the year

You're warmly welcomed to share this celebration of our heritage, and our unchanging faith.
