Come and join us on a Green Pilgrimage - journey through five holy places and discover the eco expedition they have been on - and be challenged about your own way of life! The trek begins on Saturday 3rd July and takes in:
Dalby 11:00-16:30 until 9th July See their fabulous community bunting and flower displays, enjoy their refreshments and join them for their Church Anniversary at 18:30 on Sunday 4th when Margy Killey of Dalby, Jennie Thompson from the United Nations Association, Henry Uniacke (the Diocesdan Environmental Officer) and Rachel Harrop of the Manx Wildlife Trust will speak.
Cathedral 09:00-18:00 throughout the year Local flowers arranged around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, tours of the gardens and building at 14:00 and 15:00 and refreshments until 10th July
Kirk Michael 10:00-16:00 5-10th July There's a focus on biodiversity within the churchyard, a local wild flower meadow and a prayer garden. Children from the local school have made bees, there's a recycling tree and a Pledgehog to meet.
Patrick Open Daily A treasure trail is available to guide you through the graveyard, allotments and community orchard, with a variety of natural history objects to look out for.
Old St Runius The church is decorated with locally grown flowers and information describing their eco journey
