Services for Holy Week and Easter

Please come and join us at the Cathedral during Holy Week and Easter Day. Services as follows:

Monday 15 April 2019 6.30pm Compline

Tuesday 16 April 2019 8pm Evensong sung by The Broughton Boys Choir followed by Benediction

Wednesday 17 April 2019 6.30pm AT THE DEANERY Seder Meal

Maundy Thursday 18 April 2019 12 noon Chrism Mass

6.30pm Mass of the Last Supper including footwashing

Good Friday 19 April 2019 10.30am Stations of the Cross, followed by Hot Cross Buns

2pm Liturgy with the Choristers (including pre-sanctified Eucharist)

Holy Saturday 20 April 2019 6.30pm Easter Vigil with Confirmation

Easter Day 21 April 2019 8.30am BCP Eucharist

10.30am Choral Eucharist

There will be NO Evensong on Easter Day

Opening times

You are always welcome in the Cathedral, whether for worship or just to look around, learn more about the history, or perhaps simply to enjoy some quiet time on your own.

The Cathedral is open daily from 9am to 6pm.

We are open all year round, though opening hours may vary slightly on Bank Holidays and Holy Days.
