You are always welcome in the Cathedral, whether for worship or just to look around, learn more about the history, or perhaps simply to enjoy some quiet time on your own.
We are open all year round, though opening hours may vary slightly on Bank Holidays, Holy Days, and during private events.
The Gardens

Surrounding the Cathedral are its unique interactive gardens which not only tell the story of the birth and growth of Christianity on the Isle of Man, but also provide a harmonious and beautiful setting in which to walk, relax, and be refreshed.
You are warmly invited to walk through them and explore the stories they tell accompanied by the online audio guide.
Accessibility
The Cathedral and gardens have step-free access and welcome guide/service dogs.
Donations
To make sure that we’re accessible to everyone, entrance to the Cathedral and gardens is free, but if you would like to make a donation, there is a card machine at the entrance or you can donate online.
Getting Here
St German’s Cathedral is easily accessible by Bus, with the Peel Town Hall stop located just outside. We’re committed to helping our island and our world to becoming more pollution-free, so please consider public transport where possible.
From Douglas: 4, 5, or 6 from Lord Street Bus Interchange Stand B.
From Ramsey: 5 or 6 from Ramsey Bus Station.
From Port Erin: 8 from Port Erin Railway Station.
We also offer parking on site with a recommended donation of £2.50 per half day. Please note, cars are not permitted to be left overnight.
